I hope everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful Holiday. I hope you were able to spend it with friends/family and doing what you enjoy. I cooked dinner here at my house this year and spent it with my grown children. We had a wonderful time. After dinner some of us played games with the little ones, watched a movie, Grown-Ups, and football of course, and looked thru all the store adds for Black Friday in the 3 different towns that our family lives. Those were all great things to do while our food settled and we enjoyed each others company!
I'm including a picture today of the dollhouse that I've been working on for... ahhhhh.... I'm embarressed to say.....probably close to 6 years. I've worked on it off and on, sometimes putting it up for a year or more at a time. Every winter I tell myself that I'm going to get it out and all the materials from the box and I'm going to just finish it up. It really wouldn't take much to get it done.....but alas I don't end up doing enough to barely notice. Maybe this winter I will finally get it done. I would really like to finish it. I have most of the rooms wallpapered already and I'm upset that I didn't add electric to this house. At the time I had started work on this house, I'd never done electric and never gave it a thought to do it to this house. Since then I've done a roombox with electricity and know a bit more about it. I really don't want to have to tear all the wallpaper off to add electric so I think I'll just forgo it. I've really spent most of my time since starting this house working with roomboxes. But I need to get back to this and get it finished.
Have a great day everyone!

Fab Shabby Craft Unit
Another little project that I had so much fun creating! Each of the baskets are weaved with Irish Linen Cotton Cord. Then decorated with silk ribbon and bows and filled with many tiny little creations. On the top I've decorated it with hand sculpted roses and daisies. In the baskets are a crocheted afghan in progress, tons of skeins of yarn, threads, button cards, fat quarters, many cards wrapped with lace and ribbons, a couple of crochet books and on and on! This particular one is sold already but if you're interested in purchasing a similiar one please contact me here thru my blog. Don't forget to poke the pictures to see them larger than life!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
