But I do want to tell you about a wonderful give away. You must hurry over and sign up! You'll love this one!

  3. Good luck with the baby-shower. Sometimes we are too busy to make mini's, but thats the nice thing about our hobby: the mini's wait till we work on them again.

  4. Oh a baby shower...That is such a fun event, can't wait for pictures! You asked what wax I used, just the plain old clear minwax, I was using a lot of wipe on poly acrylic, but have found that plain old wax is a lot easier and give a good waterproof seal

  5. Hi - I'm Mary Lynne and you follow my blog (bless your heart!) I got your comments tonight and wanted to give you the info on the paper I used on the outside of January's roombox and I have yet to figure out how to send an e-mail to a follower. Tried again tonight and have not ended up as a follower of my own blog and now don't know how to undo that! Anyway, the paper is a scrapbook paper from Graphic45 (www.g45papers.com) and my paper is from a series titled "An ABC Primer Collection". I love scrapbooking papers for wallpaper. I mean, there are lots of nice dollhouse wallpapers, but for one thing they cost more than scrapbook paper and for another thing, having an extra source is never a bad thing, right? Of course lots of the patterns are out of scale, but there are plenty that work too.

Please don't bother publishing this as a comment - I just didn't know how else to get in touch with you.

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog and your sweet comments on the book. The christmas book sounds like a great idea. I may get another. The stand is sold separately, and I do recommend that you get one. It is lighted with a strip light that you can get at the big box home stores.I really enjoyed making this one. We actually made the window, but I've seen ready mades in the catalogues. Have fun with it! Happy Thanksgiving!
